Scholarships and Installments
Charans PU College is working towards its goal of Empowering through Education by providing extensive financial and non-financial support to deserving students. Management/ Institutional Scholarships are provided to academically deserving and needy students based on the verification of necessary documents.
Various Govt scholarships such as SC/ST scholarships, State Scholarship Portal (SSP) and National Scholarship Portal (NSP) are also open for students to apply through the college.
Charans PU College is also associated with Canara Bank and ICICI bank to provide interest free instalments scheme for parents who wish to avail the loan facilities. Please contact reception for more details.
State Scholarship Portal(SSP)- Govt of Karnataka
The State Scholarship Portal Karnataka is an online platform launched by the Government of Karnataka to provide various scholarships to students belonging to different categories such as SC, ST, OBC, Minority, and economically weaker sections. Through this portal, eligible students can apply for scholarships, check their application status, and avail other related services. The portal aims to streamline the scholarship process and ensure efficient disbursement of funds to deserving students across the state.
Rotary Club Scholarships
Rotary Club Indiranagar in association with Charan’s PU College offers scholarships to merit students who have secured more than 80% in their Std X or SSLC examinations. The amount can vary widely in terms of eligibility criteria, application requirements, and the decision of the scholarship committee. The applicant has to visit the club, procure the application form and complete the formalities of the scholarship committee. Once the approval is given, Rotary Club will process the scholarship directly to Charan’s PU College. The renewal of scholarship is done on an annual basis based on the performance of the student.
Canara Bank Sports Scholarships
Sports scholarships are financial awards given to student-athletes from Canara Bank annualy to help cover the costs of their education while they compete in their sport at the collegiate level. To pursue sports scholarships, student-athletes typically need to demonstrate outstanding athletic ability, academic achievement, leadership skills, and character. It’s important for student-athletes to research scholarship opportunities, understand the eligibility requirements, and stay organized throughout the application process. The student has to inform Charan’s of his/her achievements during the application process itself. The amount and duration of scholarship varies every year and students are advised to discuss it directly at the office.
ICICI Interest fee Installments
Charan’s PU College in association with ICICI provides interest-free installment scheme allowing parents to pay for the college fees over time without incurring any interest charges. The annual amount is spread across 6 months or 9 months interest free instalments. Each month, the parent pays a small amount directly to the bank through their account and there is no need for the student/parent to visit the college to do the same.
